Female dress (cont.)
The female costume sukmanena nosiya (with a dress/gown) consists of a chemise, sukman (dress/gown made of home-spun frieze and closed in front), apron and girdle or belt. The decoration is concentrated on the skirts and the bosom of the sukman. It is widespread in the mountains and highlands as well as in Southeastern Thrace.
